Background

How the company started

Typename Studios grew out of low-level programming. The work began in online game integrity, reverse engineering and systems with strict performance requirements, fields where a design mistake shows up immediately.

That experience produced the method before it produced the company: understand the real requirements, design from them and measure the result. Typename formalized that practice and now applies it to client projects and to its own products, built for needs the market serves poorly.

Today we are a small team of senior developers. The people who talk to the client are the ones who design and write the code, with no layers in between, and we work with companies in several countries.

Technical background
Low-level work, reverse engineering and the integrity of systems and online games.
Model
Custom software, in-house products and ongoing services.
Main languages
C and C++, the basis of most of the work, from firmware to SaaS platforms.

Method

How we work

Principles applied to every project, from the first contact to maintenance.

01

Planning before code

Requirements and architecture are defined before development starts, so that the proposal matches what will be built.

02

Custom software

Each system is designed from the client's requirements rather than adapted from ready-made templates.

03

Performance

When performance is a requirement, we work close to the operating system and the hardware to achieve predictable response times.

04

Documentation

APIs, technical decisions and operating procedures are documented during the project and delivered to the client.

05

Security from the design stage

Threat analysis, secure default settings and audit logs are part of the architecture from the start.

06

Transparency

Responsibilities and decisions are recorded, and the client follows the progress of the project at every stage.

The name

Why Typename

template <typename T>

The name comes from typename, a keyword of the C++ programming language. In a template, it states that a name refers to a type, before it is known which concrete type the code will work with.

The choice describes the company's method: the structure of a solution is defined once, in generic form, and then specialized for each client according to the project requirements.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

FAQ
Who is behind Typename Studios?

A small, senior engineering team led by the founder. The people who design the system take part directly in its development, and trusted specialists join when a project requires it.

Which company signs the contract?

Typename Studios LLC, incorporated in Wyoming, United States. It signs the contracts, issues the invoices and holds the product licenses, and the leadership and the team are the people you talk to.

Where is the company located?

The team works remotely and serves clients in several countries. Communication is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

What experience does the team have?

More than ten years in systems engineering and low-level software, including online game integrity and reverse engineering. This experience is applied to client projects and to the company's own products.

Why the focus on C and C++?

These languages give direct control over memory, execution time and performance, which systems with strict constraints require. Other languages are used when they suit the project better.

How are technical decisions made?

Each decision is assessed against the project requirements, and the alternatives considered are recorded. If a request is technically unsuitable, we say so and explain why.

How many projects does the team take on at the same time?

A limited number, so that each project receives the attention it needs. If there is no availability, we say so at the first contact.

How can I get in touch?

Through the contact form, the Build your project assistant or by email at contact@typenamestudios.com. Messages are read and answered by the engineering team.
