Frequently asked questions
Answers about the company, engaging us for projects, our products and our operations services.
01
The company
Who is behind Typename Studios?
A small, senior engineering team led by the founder. The people who design the system take part directly in its development, and trusted specialists join when a project requires it.
Which company signs the contract?
Typename Studios LLC, incorporated in Wyoming, United States. It signs the contracts, issues the invoices and holds the product licenses, and the leadership and the team are the people you talk to.
Where is the company located?
The team works remotely and serves clients in several countries. Communication is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
What experience does the team have?
More than ten years in systems engineering and low-level software, including online game integrity and reverse engineering. This experience is applied to client projects and to the company's own products.
Why the focus on C and C++?
These languages give direct control over memory, execution time and performance, which systems with strict constraints require. Other languages are used when they suit the project better.
How are technical decisions made?
Each decision is assessed against the project requirements, and the alternatives considered are recorded. If a request is technically unsuitable, we say so and explain why.
How many projects does the team take on at the same time?
A limited number, so that each project receives the attention it needs. If there is no availability, we say so at the first contact.
How can I get in touch?
Through the contact form, the Build your project assistant or by email at contact@typenamestudios.com. Messages are read and answered by the engineering team.

Solutions
What kinds of projects does Typename Studios develop?
Websites and web applications, dashboards, management systems, APIs and integrations, desktop applications, AI and LLM assistants, agents and automations, libraries and SDKs, low-level software with performance requirements. We also assess virtualized environments and carry out migrations between virtualization platforms.
Which languages and technologies do you work with?
C and C++ are the basis of our systems and low-level work. For web, backend and databases we use established technologies such as TypeScript, React, .NET, Java, Python, PHP and PostgreSQL. The technology is chosen according to the problem.
How does a project start?
With a conversation to understand the problem, the constraints, the deadline and the budget. We then define the scope and the deliverables, and only then does development begin. Before you sign, we hold as many alignment meetings as needed, at no cost.
How is the price set?
After the initial conversation, we send a quote with no commitment. Well-defined work has a fixed price per scope, and the ongoing development of a system can be contracted as monthly hours. The price follows the agreed scope.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope. The proposal states a realistic timeline, and we do not commit to dates we cannot meet.
What happens if the scope changes during the project?
We assess the impact of the change on timeline and cost, present that assessment and continue only after your approval. There are no unexpected charges at the end.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before getting in touch?
No. The contact form has an option for those who have not yet defined the details, and the Build your project assistant guides you through the first questions. The scope is defined together.
Who owns the source code at the end of the project?
The client. In custom projects, ownership of the deliverables is transferred as set out in the contract, usually upon full payment. The code is delivered with documentation and does not depend on Typename Studios to keep running.
Do you sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)?
Yes, on request and before any sensitive information is shared. Client code and data are treated as confidential by default.
How does payment work?
Terms are set per project, usually in milestones. Payments are made to Typename Studios LLC.
Do you work with international clients?
Yes. Contracts are signed with Typename Studios LLC, and communication is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Do you offer maintenance after delivery?
Yes. Support, maintenance, monitoring and further development can be contracted separately, on demand or on an ongoing basis, as agreed at the start of the project.
03
Products
Which products does Typename Studios develop?
Ethereal, a C and C++ framework; Praetor, an integrity platform for online games that runs on the server; Provenata, a knowledge engine that answers from facts with traceable sources; and Gromatix, a diagnostic tool for virtualized environments.
Are the products available?
Ethereal and Praetor are available. Provenata and Gromatix are in development. The status of each product is shown on its page.
Is early access possible?
For some products, yes. Get in touch and describe your use case. When a suitable early access program exists, we will let you know.
How are the products distributed?
It depends on the product. Some are libraries and SDKs integrated into your system; others are platforms accessed as a service. The model can be a license, a subscription or SaaS. Licensing is handled by Typename Studios LLC.
Are client projects used to develop the products?
No. Client projects and in-house products are kept separate. Client code and data are not reused in products.
Do the products receive long-term maintenance?
Yes. Maintenance and updates are part of the planning of each product.
Can a product be adapted to a specific need?
In many cases, yes. If a product partly meets your need, an adapted version can be contracted as a separate project.
04
Operations
What does the Operations area include?
Technical consulting, support and maintenance, infrastructure and hosting, and backup and continuity, for systems that are already in production.
Do you provide hosting and infrastructure?
Yes. Dedicated servers, storage, business email and managed hosting, in data centers of our partner TorreServer.
How does the backup service work?
Automatic, verified backups with redundancy and a disaster recovery plan, also in TorreServer data centers.
Do you provide support once the system is in production?
Yes. Fixes, security updates, monitoring and SLA options for systems where downtime is costly.
Can I engage consulting without contracting a full project?
Yes. Architecture reviews, code audits and support with technical decisions are offered as standalone services.
